From the time I first bought my house, I dreamed of having a modern bath vanity with double sinks, contemporary fixtures and a marble top. I was watching a home improvement show recently and saw exactly what I wanted. The vanity was stained a sleek capacino color with sinks of brushed nickel. The faucets were a contemporary curvilinear shape with automatic sensors to turn them off and on. The vanity itself had no doors on it, but rather long, shallow drawers for towels and toiletries. The piece gave the bath a spa-like feel and was perfect for the look I really want. The top of the vanity was a beautifully veined black marble. The combination of materials looked so sharp together. Above the vanity was a mirror trimmed in the same brushed nickel that the sink were made from. The recessed lighting above was enclosed in a rectilinear box above the mirror. The vanity was perfect for the bath I’m hoping to create in my home.
